| Athletics day is on Monday and I don't think I am ready but I am very excited but nervous as well. I hope I get a place in any following sport. |

| On the 31st of July a man from Taupo came to our school to talk about STEAM ( Scicnce , Techlongy , Engineering , Arts & Maths ). A week before we got to chose a activty out of Mbots , Scratch and more but there was one activty that sounded cool called Breakout EDU! We had to go to Rm 12 because thats were the activty was. |

| When we had arrived at room 12 we saw 2 girls named Imogen and Lia. They talked about the rules and how much time we had they said " get in a group of 12 " the point of the game was to unlock a box with clues we could find around the room. After they talked about that they said to choose a group leader we did not really decide so Vanessa just walked up and choosed to the group leader ! We had 40 minutes to unlock the box ! |

| Its been aleast 25 mniutes and we unlocked 1 box but there was another box inside the big box and there was 6 locks we had to unlock we were exhuasted at that time but 5 miniutes or 10 minutes later that boys had already finshied so we had lost but we still went on to unlock the box but after a while we had finshed ! It was a very fun but exhausting day! |

| We have adapted the game of life and turned some rules and other things in the game different that the real game! |

| Today we made a drew a picture of what the scared heart sort of means! because today we had a mass of the scared heart so why not we make draw a picture of it! We had to follow the introductions and then we got to draw anything we wanted that was related to scared heart! |

| On Monday we had cross country! We had to wait for a little while for the year 5 girls to go and run. we it was our turn we first had to stretch with Mrs nelson and then Mr Macmillan got a cap gun and shot it! Than we ran ran and ran. It was very hard but i made it! I did not come 1st 2nd or 3rd but i tried! |

| On Monday we did bike wise. Bike wise is about bike safety and how to be safe while on a bike.
first thing we learned was how to put on a helmet properly. We had to check our helmet if it had any dents or cracks. Then we had to check put on our helmet and try tighten it until it fit nice good not tight like squeezing your head off but nice and tight. afterwards we checked our bikes if anything was broken or working but mine bike was fine. after we did some steering or bikes around the cones the we had to control or bikes and go forward a Straight line. And some skills we did was standing on our bike using our breaks also turning!

| This week we have been learned about measuring. Everyday we would put 40mls of jelly solution in our cup. We would had to measure it in a measuring cup then had to put it in our regular cup. We got to put in 5 colours. The first colour we put in was red then yellow then green and then orange that's all. Now its Friday and we just put in the orange and now its in the fridge waiting. We are going to eat our jelly for golden time! |

| On Monday people from the NZ Opera came to our school to do a play for us . It was not just a normal play they singed while they played sort of like a musical but opera version . The play was about love . It was very entertaining and they were very good at singing . The scene was at a place called Jax's Fish ' N ' Chips it was not real it was just a model but at the end it was called Nemos Fish and chips. My favourite bit was when Dulcamara gave Nemorino the potion that would make Adina love her but he was just kidding and it was just L&P! that bit was very funny . My Favourite character is Adina and Nemorino . |

| Me , Caitlyn , Kim , Kamiria , Emily R , Caoimhe Made a Skytower on minecraft. Because we went to camp for a trip and we went to the skytower. It was very fun to make this we made a restaurant 2 hide outs also a sky jump. It took a week to make this . Me and Caoimihe made 1 of the hide outs and the restaurant Kim and Kamiria also Emily made the skyjump and almost the whole sky tower building. |

| Today we made a Tomb were Jesus died and resurrected. They took Jesus off the cross to lay him in a tomb were none could steal him but 3 days later these 2 woman saw the tomb open and they thought he got stolen so the 2 ladies went to go tell some people to look for there self because the 2 ladies did not want to go in they were scared so they told the soldiers to look and he was not there so they walked away. After the 2 woman saw something amazing and it was Jesus standing on the tomb telling them are you looking for me! and the 2 woman told the whole town and then everyone saw him for once and for all! And that's how Jesus Resurrected! |

| This is when I was getting ready for backstroke for 50 meters I was very scared and it was a little bit deep but not shallow because I was on tiptoes . I sort of slowed down when I started because the water felt very thick for my hands to go through the water. This was my first competition I tried. I sort of blacked out in the water because I was scared if I stranded I would fall and not be able to get up again so I kept going and never gave up . Also this was my only 50 meter contest because I was very tried if I did freestyle I would be slow like very slow . |

| I was very scared when I was doing backstroke 50 meters I regretted it after wards but it is worth it for getting 3rd place in backstroke . My Favourite part in swimming sports was the noodle soup I didn't really get that much noodle bits but it fine Mackillop AKA my team won and got 315 points . I am glad that I actually tried I have never got in a place in swimming sports most years I would just stay under the shades until the games . I am very glad that I actually tried I am very proud of my self :) |

| Soon it will be children's day so we made these canvas for the day! We were the only class in the school who made this so we are lucky. This is how we made them!
1. Get some medium size fabric what is white
2. Get the colour dye you want
3. Dab the dye with a paint brush so it makes a cross symbol 4. Get leaves from anywhere
5. Get some paint
6. paint the leaves
7. Carefully place leaves on fabric and get a paper towel and press it harder and then lift it off ( don't keep the leaves to close to each other!)
8. You can paint your leaves different colours! ( Optional )
9. Wait for it to dry!
10. YOUR DONE!!!!

| Ash Wednesday is when you get a cross on your forehead. It reminds you about the promise you made . People say that the ash on your forehead is made out of the paper you wrote on but it is actually made out of the last years palm leaves from palm Sunday! |

| I Loves cats and dogs but lets say i love both so i drew a cat because the are cute but I still do love dogs better but i like to draw cat because they are easier to draw then dogs |
